Personal Statement

My name is Vy Tran and I am the Seattle Promise Retention Specialist at Seattle Central College. I support Seattle Promise students throughout their two years at Central by supporting students who are navigating their academic career. 

As a Retention Specialist I serve as both an academic advisor and support specialist for students at Central. My goal is to assist students in choosing the best choices for their academic journey including selecting courses, creating and reviewing their academic plan, and goal setting in their personal and professional life.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University Washington, 2017. 

Master's of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University, 2019.
