Comments and letters from students:

"The difference is the way you teach!" - At the end of the quarter a student said, "The first time I taken Psychology I failed it, but in your class I will get a 4.0!  So I asked," Was my class just easier?"  No, she said, you both covered the same material.  The difference is the way you teach."

“Your enjoyment in teaching is obvious. This is my first quarter of college in 15 years. I was nervous and scared, unsure of my ability. Your class has helped me build up confidence in myself and my ability to succeed in school. I know I may not be lucky enough to have such dedicated and experienced teachers every quarter, but with the skills I’ve learned from your study techniques and teaching style, I know I can manage” “ … I am so grateful for the way you teach…” “ Thank you for an amazing quarter. Your time, energy, and dedication are highly appreciated. I had so much fun, and learned a lot. Your class was the best of all my classes.”

From an international student: Thank you so much for such an amazing quarter… you made the journey of learning incredibly fun! The course you designed is so inventive, fascinating, and intrigued us to learn better. Taking your class had become one of the most wonderful experiences for me since I came to the states! Your enthusiasm about the teaching had a huge impact on me. I have learned so much from you-both of the psychology and a better perspective of the life. I am extremely grateful for everything you have taught me. I really appreciate your generosity and all your precious time dedicating to help your students. Thank you for being such an extraordinary teacher! You truly made us believe that we can do more than we think we can!!

From a distance learning student: I just wanted to thank you for putting together such an easy to navigate online course. Everything was very organized and cohesive unlike some online course's I've taken. I appreciated how much content you supplied, it made it up for the way that one can feel somewhat stranded or on their own while taking an online class. I also enjoyed the lectures. Thank you again,

From a distance learning student: I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your course. The content affirmed my interest in pursuing a profession psychology or psychiatry. The ranging and provocative topics you explored made studying very enjoyable. I also really appreciated the resources, from lecture notes to videos, that you offered to us to make studying more engaging. What I learned in your class is already offering me rewards. I have discovered new interests, and am better able to understand topics related to psychology.

This is my first time taking online classes and I'm really deeply struggling in all except for yours. You have the best structure by far, and I'm really enjoying the class!

Thank you for making online learning exciting! I have taken Psyc 100 twice before when I went to school for my BA in Communications at EWU and I didn't excel nearly as much as I am in this class.

Your enthusiastic lectures are fun to watch, your stories and enthusiasm make each topic interesting and memorable.
