Personal Statement

Hello! My name is Kelly, and I am an Outreach Specialist for Seattle Promise.

I am dedicated to education and the opportunities it can bring. Growing up, I faced several barriers in education and when applying to college. My goal is to continue to bridge the gap between higher education access and future generations of high school students. Previously, I ran a youth mentorship program for middle and high school students within Renton School District. I received my bachelors in Organizational Communication from Cal Poly Pomona and my masters in Leadership in Higher Education from the University of Washington.
