Personal Statement

I embarked on my teaching journey in 2005, initially as a part-time instructor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington, while also dedicating my time to various colleges in the Seattle area. For three years, I shared my expertise on a flexible basis, ensuring a strong foundation for future engineers.

In 2008, I joined Green River College in Auburn, Washington, where I immersed myself in teaching Engineering and Computer Science. Over the course of a decade, I honed my skills as a dedicated faculty member, nurturing the intellectual growth of countless students. Additionally, I took on the responsibility of Division Chair, a role I fulfilled for more than two years.

However, the demanding commute eventually took its toll, prompting me to make a significant change. With the desire to conserve my energy for the benefit of my students and family, I made the decision to transition to North Seattle College. By relocating, I prioritized efficiency and wellbeing, allowing me to invest my time and passion wholeheartedly into the classroom.

Through my extensive teaching experience and commitment to both academic excellence and personal balance, I am continuously motivated to inspire and guide the next generation of learners. Join me on this educational journey as we explore the fascinating world of engineering and computer science together.
