Personal Statement

Hello! My name is Hazel (she/her) and I am an Outreach Specialist for Seattle Promise. I support at Roosevelt High School, the Center School, Middle College, and Interagency Academy (UDYC, Innovation, and Recovery campuses). I am a proud SPS alum, passionate about removing barriers to college access and helping all students achieve their postsecondary goals. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Environmental Studies from Tufts University, and my Master’s of Education in Higher Education Administration from Boston University. Before joining Seattle Promise, I served as an Americorps College and Career Advisor in Boston Public Schools.
