Personal Statement

Hello all, my name is Christina and I use (she/her/hers) pronouns. 

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Public Health at the University of Washington and am now a 2nd year Masters of Public Health student at the University of Washington in the Community Oriented Public Health Practice program. For Seattle Colleges, I am a Graduate Intern for Seattle Promise and this is my second year working with the program. I collaborate with Seattle Promise staff to coordinate and create training activities for Peer Mentors while encouraging professional development. As a future public health professional, I am an advocate for equal access to education and I really believe in Seattle Promise's vision and mission.
