Personal Statement

NOTE for Fall Quarter 2023 BIO 160 Hybrid Classes:

We will be meeting IN-PERSON on Tuesdays and Thursdays for labs during the scheduled class time from 10:45AM - 12:35PM.

 

Ben Machado has an Undergraduate degree from University of Washington in Ecology and Evolution.

Masters degree from Portland State University in Fish Developmental Physiology.

Has taught Anatomy and Physiology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Majors Biology and Human Biology up and down the West Coast of the USA.

Has also contributed to research projects related to: elucidating the physiological impacts of oil on cardiac function in fish, exploring the migratory patterns of Pacific tuna and sharks, and understanding cellular metabolism and the aging process in vertebrates.
