Personal Statement

Hello! 

My name is Anna Brigden (she/they) and I am a Retention Specialist with Seattle Promise! I am a proud graduate of one of the Washington Community and Technical Colleges - Lower Columbia College. After receiving my AA at LCC, I went on to get my Bachelor of Arts in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies with minors in Disability Studies and Law, Societies and Justice from the University of Washington. I joined the Seattle Promise team at South Seattle College after a few years of college access work through the non-profit sector. I am here to support students as they discover and work towards their goals, connect to resources, and walk alongside student journeys!  

Outside of South Seattle College, you can find me reading, spending time with my dog, or learning new fiber arts skills!
