Personal Statement

Hello, I have been a philosophy instructor at the Seattle Colleges since 2015. I strongly believe that philosophy, as a discipline, is still very relevant and teaches useful skills prized in today's rapidly changing job market: critical thinking skills, the ability to spot bad reasoning, and the ability to clearly and persuasively support one's own beliefs with good compelling reasons. In philosophy, my background is in philosophy of science, history and philosophy of physics, and logic. Recently, however, I've been thinking about anti-natalism
