Personal Statement

My name is Jacob (he/him), and I am an Outreach Specialist for Seattle Promise. I support Ballard HS, Cleveland HS, and Middle College. 

Previously, I have worked with the UW Dream Project — facilitating college application, FAFSA/WASFA, and essay-writing workshops — for three years before starting at Seattle Promise. I received my B.A. in English (’23) and my M.Ed. in Education Policy (’25) at the University of Washington – Seattle.
