Personal Statement

Hello! My name is Ray and I am a Retention Specialist, advising Business & Accounting students in Seattle Promise. My role is to serve as an academic advisor and provide holistic support to help you navigate the college system—including but not limited to helping you choose classes for your pathway, preparing you for transfer processes, and getting you connected to various student support services on campus. My mission is to serve as an advocate for self-growth and empower you to make informed decisions towards your personal and academic/career goals.

When I’m not working or doing schoolwork, I enjoy emotional-support beverages (especially sweet lattes and matcha), watching thriller/horror movies, and customizing my iPhone & iPad!
