Personal Statement
Hello! I work with students in the Electronics ("EET") Department, focusing on guiding them through their academic journey and helping them launch or advance careers in electronics-related fields. I'm here to assist with exploring degree pathways, creating academic plans, and accessing campus and community resources. I also help students understand workforce demand for electronics skills, explore funding options, develop resumes, prepare for interviews, and overcome challenges that may impact their academic success.
I regularly connect with employers and share training-related job opportunities. I choose to work in the community and technical college (CTC) environment because it reflects our broader community and serves as a hub for positive change. I believe that diversity and inclusion lead to the best outcomes, and I want you to know that you are welcome here.
Before joining North Electronics in late 2016, my professional experience was in business, K12 education, and higher education research.
If you'd like to schedule a virtual or in-person appointment, please feel free to reach out. I'm happy to introduce you to our programs, answer any questions, and help you determine if an Electronics program at North is the right fit for you.
